S2 4decks

quick question can i use the S2 and get another midi controller to control the other 2 decks(C&D) since i'm only gonna use the C&D decks for cue point juggling is that possible!!

yeah, you can control C&D with the S2 if your savy

but i want them to turn into track decks not sample decks i hate using sample decks i rather use cue points with the whole track loaded, so it is possible to make it a four deck with the s2?

enable midi mode in options tab, then you enter midi mode by holding both shifts. you will need to open the controller editor and modify the default mapping so the buttons function as you will want them to as default they all act as toggles. you want to set the buttons to Note/Gate mode. Then go to controller mappings in Traktor and start a new Generic Midi map and go to town. you can toggle back and forth on the fly.

What he's saying is it's not only a .tsi. You also need to tweak the .ncks2 in NI's Controller Editor.

I'm going to restart a simple straight forward 4 deck control this week. I feel like peeps around here are intentionally keeping this hush hush as they recieve "perks" from the manufacturer and have agreed to sit on the true potential of the S2
