I thought long and hard about this but I felt no connection to the DB4 when I tried it.

Also there are the added benefits of the DJ Link crap (like the sampler) and lighting up the active CDJs corresponding to the cross- and linefader-position.

i´d still say go with nexus since the 2000 is way to big and you´ll never really gonna use all the useless stuff that the 2000 provides.

Can't swap the 2000 back anymore. The merchant was a dick.

Selling and re-buying the 900 would mean loosing money.

Honestly I thought about this for a while too, the 900 is newer, but the 2000 is the 2000. Thing looks sweet as hell, granted you may never use a lot of its abilities, but you can if you want! And when they're all standing next to each other it looks like a damn spaceship.

Don't even feel slightly bad about the mixer. Your setup is ideal and fuggin sweet. Best of both worlds.

Intel Macbook (desperately needs upgraded to newer MBP.)
Traktor SP2

I can play on anything, but this is what I'm working with at home. I'm currently in the market for a small 2 channel controller....maybe a Kontrol S2 or Novation Twitch.

Hmm...theoretically nothing should happen, but I am not sure how well shielded the KRKs are and considering there are nice healthy magnets in the speaker and a computer's hard drive is based on the electromagnetic storage of data, there is some risk of damage to the drive. Not sure if that is Lecko's concern, but it would be mine.
