There have been countless threads debating this very topic on the forum. Search through them and you'll see that everything relating to this discussion has been covered ad nauseum. Bringing up this topic yet again is spam and should be treated as such.

i "settled" for a pc, ha by settled i mean i bought a pc laptop that costs as much as a mac and is actually tailored for multimedia. rain computers makes great pc's, and the mac book pros are really slick as well but really in the end - you get what you pay for. its not magic - if you buy a computer from a company that has a proven record of testing the components they choose for their product line then youre most likely going to get a solid reliable computer.
