Thanks for the pointers. Also just discovered Bome's MIDI Translator after getting a burrito with a friend from the MIT Media Lab, talking sh*t about OS X CoreAudio MIDI APIs, and positing something like MIDI Translator a) must already exist, or b) should be constructed immediately.

I can't tell you how happy I was that Bome had already done all the heavy lifting, interface design, bugfixing, and marketing on that beast.

hmm, either having too much fun or puling your haur out getting the mappings right. I thinking whether to buy the APC 40 and xone1D or whether one will dobetter for Traktor/Ableton use.
