Seriously? hehe. This is the largest open source community developed CMS out there! It better handle the simplest task, otherwise it might as well tuck it's tail between it's legs and become a sissy little blog software like wordpress.

Ok, you got me interessted, I installed Drupal on the server, and I will play around with it for a while and decide if its worth it. What I really love about joomla is Community Builder, with custom fields and so on, and there is a REALLY nice review system... jReviews

Drupal is VERY powerful. The only problem that most people have with it is it's large learning curve. It can be really daunting to do a small task when you're first starting out. I used it for about 3 years and I've been using it as my sole web development platform for the last year and I've never looked back.

I was really nervous about it at first though. But once you get past that learning curve it's probably the most powerful CMS out there.

Good that I have been working with CMS's and PHP/MySQL for a very long time then I have heard a lot of good things about Drupal, but never bothered as we always either used Joomla (on client demand) or programmed our own

Drupal is nice and all, but it's more of a solo blogging tool.

If you want a team blogging CMS without the overhead of Joomla, then go for WordPress. Trust me on this one.

uuuuhh...solo blog? from drupal? what? since when? I actually had to modify Drupal to act like a solo blog. Otherwise it acts much less like a solo blog and more like a webmag.

Wordpress is HORRIBLE for multiuser blogs. Trust ME! It is not meant for multiple profiles etc etc, its programmed to be a SOLO blog haha

Nah... I run my WP with multiple writers and it works like a charm, things I could not get to work to some 5 years ago on any other blogging tool.

On any Blog/CMS research site, they tell you use drupal for your personal blog, Wordpress if you really want to start blogging.
