I don't know why but my cheap Behringer HPS3000 Headphones I got off the net for $50 are the best headphones I can find! They are super comfortable and have a bass range which is awesome yet not overpowering. I'm not a sound buff but the rest of the frequency response is good enough for me as well. I love them

I use Audio Technica ATH-Pro 700MS Camo Lmtd,
The best I have used (for a club environment).

Used the hd25 before that and found that they were too quiet for club use,
    But great for studio/home use.

    AIAIAI TMA-1
    Technics DH1200

    HD25-1 II's aren't a new model, im pretty sure the ones i bought back in 03-04 were HD25-1 II's.

yeah i know they aint new, but there widely considered the industry standard and DJTT never included them in any of there headphone reviews.
and id like to see how the old classics stand up in comparison against the newer models and brands...

and cheers for the review link

the selling factor for me is they use an aluminum spring band throughout the whole contrusction-no more broken off earcups at the height adjustment slider! They are very tight but are loosening up, the larger ear muffs fit me really nice. for 90 bucks cant go wrong

    plus, the ladies love em
    What headphones are those?
