I believe posting mapping questions is against the rules for this section of the forums - mods, feel free to move this if it's inappropriate.

DJdyve: I don't have a VMS4, so this is at best an educated guess for you. Let me know if it works.

First setting is for your pitch bend:

Add an 'IN' mapping: Transport > Jog Scratch + Tempo Bend, and use the LEARN button to assign it to your jog wheel's rotation. Add a modifier condition (ex, M1-0).

Now add a second 'IN' mapping: Browser > List > List Select Up/Down, and use the Learn button to assign it to your jog wheel's rotation again. Add a modifier condition (ex, M1-1) for a different value, but with the same modifier.

Add a third 'IN' mapping: Modifier > Modifier #1 (or whichever you've chosen for your conditions), and use the LEARN button to assign it to your jog wheel's touch sensitivity. Make the type of controller a button, choose 'Hold' as the interaction type, and under button options, Set to Value: 1.

What this does is makes the touch sensitivity (the top plate) of your jog wheel the difference between search/pitch bend and browser selection. When the jog wheel is turned without that top plate being touched (on its outer rim) it doesn't trigger the modifier.

Yeah it is, but I don't think it's enforced much since there's all kinds of questions asking for advise in here.

lol i know ! But you know why? Its because the VMS4 came with a clear rubber band on the jogwheels and i first thought it was a shipping protection thing and i removed it! But in fact it was this that separate the touch signal!!!

Thank god that i didnt throw it in garbage!!

Anyway that epic fail from American Audio! But thanks you all for your time!
