They do the job

I have had these for around a year now.

They obviously dont have the feel of a high end deck, we all know you get what you pay for. On that note you do get alot of features for the money!

Buttons feel quite nice and are responsive, SD/USB playback is great.

On the downside, pitch fader is a bit niggly around 0, and also im not holding up much hope for cue/play buttons taking the test of time.

What I was doing gearwise since I started DJing.

2003-mid2004: pair of 1200s and records
2004-2005: 1200s and cdjs
early 2005-2010: Scratch live and occasional cdjs
Present: Kontrol S4

i still keep and buy used and new vinyl records. but, i will rarely use them for djing. i end up just ripping the record for archiving and sampling purposes. for all intensive purposes, i've been almost all digital since 2005 when i first got scratch live. and now, with my s4, I'm really all digital.

To be perfectly honest it's only been set up there for the last couple of hours. Previous to that is was on the kitchen bench, my laptop was sitting on top of a pile of magazines!

But yes, I like to try and keep it tidy, even if it does look a little minimal to all the insane set ups in this thread!

Glad you're enjoying yourself so far. When DJF will become stable I'll never know: seems to go down up to a couple of times a fortnight.

Interesting that you've made the move to 'all' digital.

Up until recently I was running TSP using 2x VCI-100. Recently (in the last week or so) shifted to SSL with 3x Stanton ST-150 and an Empath Rotary (might run Bridge with a Monome or VCM-600)

Everyone seems to be going smaller and less analogue. I wonder if I'm the only muppet still buying 'outdated' tech in this day...
