My classes just ended, I finally get to see my girl tomorrow, and these bad boys are coming in on Monday, I truly feel like Christmas came early this year!

make sure u have the right cables/patches/adapters, i spent some 20$ at guitarcenter today on cables and patch cables to make sure i didnt fuck anything up. WORTH IT THOUGH!

Such as what exactly? I'm going to be running it through my S4, which has an inbuilt sound card. Do I need like special adaptors or anything?

well the s4 has 4 outs (2 rca unbalanced and 2 1/4 inch balanced) both of which the KRK's support.

So (if you do not have them) you need rca to rca - or - trs to trs cables.

So guess i'm good to go . Superr excited! This is probably a dumb question (my excuse is lack of sleep due to finals :P) but hows the bass feel on them?

great on almost ALL levels (hell i can even here thekicks on near minimum volume.

there is just SOOOO much clarity! i am hearing thigs ive never heard in some tracks before!

That's what I really love about these. I have neighbors, and a girlfriend who goes to bed at normal hours while I stay up late mixing. I can play these at whispering volumes and still discern everything, including deep bass. Yeah you're gonna love them. Even the color is growing on me.

To run those speakers through your Audio 2, did you just need a longish RCA cable? where the white one goes into one speaker and the red one goes into the other speaker?

I used this:



its a splitter that splits it to 2 female mono (from stereo). from there i got one trs to trs to each of the speakers.

Ooooh ok ok where'd you pick those cables up? Guitar Center or something?

What kind of cables are TRS cables? I'm a complete noob when it comes to speaker wiring so I'm just making my way
