gotta ask though, how does that fit in with your workflow? i saw your last tracklist that you posted, and man was that an awesome selection of tunes. it was all over the place. how do you do it without jogs and pitch faders? seems like those would be essentials for that kinda mixing. just curious man, let me know!
I just go with the flow, my workflow is everywhere. last week i did a Smiths Tribute set with just a X1 and the Audio2 in external mode. I can live without jog wheels...TBH I hate jog wheels unless im playing Hip Hop. I use the pitch bend button that I remapped on the X1 and rely on the sync/tap being that beatmatching was 1995.

The coffin, its a marathon CDJ/12" mixer one, I got it from SixStarDJ (which makes the marathon gear)

Nice. So, a pair of X1s fit in a CDJ-1000 case (probably). Note to self. Then again, I'm probably not going to pay that much for a case for them…they fit just fine in my shure record bag.

I like the Maschine, though…seems like a much simpler way to do a lot of the s**t everyone claims they do in Live.

perhaps move the masching up and put the monitors to the sides of ur laptop?

also, the amount of the waveform u must be able to see on traktor (maximized) on that screen must be insane.

I had them on the sides of my laptop previously, but then the room on my desk got extremely limited. Contrary to how it looks on the picture, my desk isn't that big.

Someone else suggested that I get a monitor stand and place one on the left side of my desk, and leave the right monitor on top of my dresser, I think that is what i'm going to end up doing. Even that will be rough though due to the limited room I have .
