Cool, another scratcher who knows why this is important. I do hope you can pull this off!

Hmm... Well I did the following thing:
I mapped a modifier to the "REC" Button disabling the traditional X-Fader in Traktor and enabling one with a relative mode of operation. Played with the rotary acceleration and the sensitivity a bit and managed to achieve something pretty close to what we talked about, but it seems that the fader then goes out of calibration for some reason. When you center the Fader on the Spin it is positioned slightly to the left or right in the software, which is not good. I mean it is bearable if you just want to throw in some quick chops but it is still not what it should be.
Man, that sounds highly complex. All I can do is basic mapping!
Could you upload it so I could try it out?
it's crap though... try some fast fader clicking... soon you'll find what I am talking about

I can't seem to open it.
Yeah got it working. I see what you mean about the calibration but you're nearly there mate.
Hey y'all!
Thanks for the .tsi file oldfashioned! It's a major help!
BUT
i'm having trouble importing the file! I used the import .tsi file in traktor, and it's not having any effect at all. Is there a guide to follow? Or does anyone have any tips for importing .tsi files?!
THANKS!
johnny

i'm getting absolutely no where with this tsi file.
AND now there's a wicked hum coming from my speakers after plugging in the spin. this thing is starting to look a lot cooler than it actually is. i'm really frustrated and would just like some help.
a little more info:
mac os x 10.6.2
traktor 1.2.1 (i _cannot_ find the 1.2.3 update!)
vestax spin
any help from anyone would be really appreciated. i'm beyond frustrated and i don't think two packs of butts is gonna help me solve this!
