Following on the popularity of last week's gear setup with Loco Dice, we're bringing you another popular artist gear setup. Today, Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland better known as The Crystal Method share their setup and why they travel with this gear. One thing that's notably absent from this current setup is their famous CDJ guitar (DJTT got an up close and personal look at it when we first interviewed the Crystal Method). The Crystal Method has been known to use a variety of gear for their live performances. This setup seems to be focused on portability and is full of gear that can easily fit into any DJ booth and also used on the road.
We're always excited to see a new video from live performance wizard Rheyne, who has made a name for himself on YouTube for posting regular "Live Jams" that are incredible on-the-fly production spectacles. We're spotlighting this one because he's brought the Midi Fighter Twister into the equation, using it alongside Sugar Byte's Turnado effects palette.
Rheyne, known on YouTube for his jam sessions with iPad production apps, hardware synths, and MIDI controllers, has put out his 100th live jam. In celebration, it's a full hour-long performance, featuring all kinds of gear in his setup.
