It's not mine.
Numark/Akai gave it to me in order to demonstrate it together with the MPC1000 and OmniControl at exhibitions and in musicstores starting in January.

Since I have next to no experiences with vinyl it's quite some pressure because the other guys doing these demonstrations are pros.

I don't see myself taking it to clubs, but I'm traveling a lot with it (~400 miles a week and I don't even have a car). Including the case it's around 80 pounds I think.

I got it down pretty good now with the left hand on the deck and right hand on the XFader.

I can't do it with the other side tho.

Crab and Transform are the SHIZZ.

Finding ways to use it in Psytrance is killer too.



Obviously don;t have the control you do with vinyl (the VCI jog is waaayy to small) but you can get away with some scratches.

Still wanting the Pro X Fade in my VCI.

used a transform effect on efx500, one of the reasons i got one ages ago, that and the feedback loop (like everyone and their nan did 3/4 years ago)
haven't got it now though
but (finally) figured out how to emulated it with a filter effect - does the trick

Well i do... so you get Numark/Akai to pay for me to come over to you in Berlin and show you some wicky-wacky stuff and then I can take you round to NI HQ and we can steal some X1s from the stock room

Check out Rafiks DMC 2008 routine and his freestyles. Especially the one on Le Jad's looper 2. His video directed by Tony Truand "Gold Steel" is pretty sick too.
