Personally, I didn't like them that much. But of course it depends on your personal tastes....

I have to add another vote for the M-Audio BX8a.

I've owned a pair for about two years. The 8 inch woofer really delivers the bass. I actually own the older model, before they jacked up the price. Look around and you should be able to get them for under $400.

The shitty stores in my town don't even have the KRK RP8s at all so I won't be able to make that decision, though I've heard they're greeeeeat
