Yeah, I do not have a logitech camera hooked up. I think it may because I am on Snow leapord?? I have pretty much went on and mapped my LPD 8 with out being able to change the knobs to cc9-cc16 because so I get about half of the actual usage I should get but I still like Djing with it.

I've only had traktor and a controller for a week, so I'm hitting a learning curve with mappings :eek::eek:

White Dragon, that tutorial is great! I'm sure it will clear up a lot of problems people are having. Any chance you could post your Traktor mappings and presets for the LPD8? I'd love to see what you came up with.

i uploaded the preset in the lpd8 editor and then i opened traktor scatch pro.
but nothing happens. what am i doing wrong?

er.......... I've run out of ideas then


also just to check that you do know that

you can either use

LPD8+host (cubase/live etc)
or
LPD8+editor

not LPD8+host+editor.

you have to exit the editor before you boot the host. Or exit the host before you boot the editor.

i did find that i could change programs with the editor and still use the host.

and that i could minimise the LPD8 editor and change presets at the same time as host. boot host then editor i think

ok. so i plugged in my lpd8, opened the editor, selected lpd8 and loaded the presets (load preset/commit upload). then i closed the editor and opened traktor. and still nothing happens. when i touch a pad the midi indicator turns blue, but thats it...
i'm starting to get frustrated
