Claptone's Mask is awesome, he really pulls it off
Originally, covering your face was a way for the music to remain faceless. A way to appreciate the music on it's own merit and substance. It was used to push attention away from the performer and back to the music where the audience should be focusing on. However, using masks as a technique for branding is the opposite of that mentality. it pulls attention to the performer. Early on, DJs and performers would wear bandanas and hoodies to hide their face.

Where I'm from, a mask was a dark window from a booth above the floor where. you only saw a djs shadow.
I agree... don't get the whole mask thing. Save it for Halloween.
I give Deadmau5 credit for performing with that giant head, though. But, for the most part, I don't want any extra thing on my head while I'm playing for 5+ hours. It gets hot enough.
I think Ten Walls will be investing in a mask.
