headphones are the one thing you dont go cheap on. I suggest a pair of Technics DH1200's built like a tank and great sound (can be bassy for some people). 160-180 dollars if I recall.
Silly DJ loops are for kids!
I have the Sony MDR-V700DJ cans great headphones not cheap though, I bought them as you can really feel the bass inside when cueing up, they are around £68 quid of Amazon well worth the investment for me
Keep in mind guys, he wants these for listening at home, not for live gigs.
I've had good luck with the $20 on ear Sony's you can get at best buy. They have a quarter inch converter and as long as you don't abuse them they last a while.
Not too sure about this website, but the prices are looking fab!

I also have the MDR-V700's Just like ciar2001,they are a little pricey but well worth it. The sound coming out of these things are incredible. I believe with most audio video you get what you pay for
