Default Duality Set Up. Ableton/Trigger Finger/DJM2000/Serato/XoneK2/RMX1000

Me and my buddy's project, Duality. We have a pretty unique set up. 2 separate rigs summed into one mixer (DJM2000 NXS). He (on the left) uses ableton connected to the mixer via usb, and uses his Trigger Finger for clip launching/effects controls. My set up (on the right) consists of serato taking up channels 3 and 4 of the djm. I use my xone K2 to control serato. Last but definitely not least, the Pioneer RMX-1000 is routed via the DJM's send/returns.

I see this done alot, and let me just give you a quick word of wisdom.

Putting your laptop on a speaker is never a good idea....speakers have magnets in them, laptops have hard-drives in them. The two never really got along very well.

    (yes i've seen a Rokit 8 erase a hard-drive.)

But the DJM 2000 is also AWESOME, my favorite mixer of all time!

Mechanical hard drives have very powerful magnets inside of them - a speaker isn't going to effect it.
