I dont think that its a case of Dubstep having lost its original creativity, its just now every dick, and the electro Dj next door, who has with a copy of ableton and massive has watched Ruskos how to make average dubstep tutorial and is now making either Rusko-esque wobble, Chemical-esque vowel b-line noise, or brostep.

So pretty much its just a case of diggin a whole bunch deeper for the jems - the beatport top 10 is now just full of the above.

Badman producers are still making baaadman tunes.

But to make up for the influx of aweful dubstep being played by djs who dont understand the music it has been an awesome year for d&b

Lol sorry Im not sure how universal the term brostep is - very common place down here in NZ now though.

Basically brostep is the Gash of dubstep, think Excision, Datsik, Skism, Bare Noize etc.

All those artists have made mean innovative tunes - dont get me wrong - its just now everybody is trying to make tunes that sound like that, and god that sound is getting old now..

Kinda off in another direction, but I've been really getting into Rockwell lately (I know I'm immensely late) but I can't seem to find anything really like it (with the whole "organic" (for lack of a better term) samples for the drums) could someone point me in the right direction.
