Might start spinning a bit of D&B again.

There's gonna be an epic mega party in January featuring LTJ Bukem, Fabio and Goldie.
MC of the evening, MC Conrad!

Damn... I really gonna have to score me some ticks.

Well put, and too true. Too much of the same sounds tune to tune. Figure when more people start getting involved, it'll start to evolve maybe.

i like the dubstep from black sun empire, its pretty dark, although as far as i know theres only four tracks released so far, its worth checking out.

Drum and Bass is splitting into two formats nowadays as well, or even three.

theres liquid jump and and minimal. its a very exciting time.

I like to mix minimal, and i also love mixing jump up.

goodness knows where drumstep fits in, but some of those tunes aren't too bad either.

It's actually more like 5 major formats, you forgot Techstep and Neurofunk.

As for drumstep? It's the bastard child of Dubstep and Drum & Bass. If you want a good drumstep tune check out Damian Marley - Welcome To Jamrock (Savoy Remix).

176 pages of responses and we haven't yet established whether Drum & Bass is dead.

    Must. Try. Harder.

oh yeah i suppose thats what it is. I like terravita - lockdown and a few others. its at 174 so its not too hard to mix with regular dnb.

im a fan of minimal and jump up the most , as the other sub genres have a bad habit of having similar sounding songs.

I used to think jump up was dead till i heard link to the past. And i wrote an article around the time i was getting bored of jump and and started preferring minimal.
