Help me understand cue points they are not my friend.

For the past month Ive been having wicked fun with my Traktor F1 but cant get cue points down. I can put down a cue point but not excatly where I want it to go (not sure if that is a settings issue or what). Ive seen a lot of tutorials on cue points out there Im probably doing something wrong and need some help

Upper part of traktor on the right handside of the loop recorder, you have a blue button called snap (S). Snap on will put automatically your cue point on the grid, snap off would allow you to set it up anywhere.
