So with that being said, would that foam pad go under the Vci-300 ?

Lot of expensive fixes up in this thread.
I just took my jumper off and put it under the VCI.
Problem solved.
Someone else said that they tried to use their jumper/jacket and it didnt work - i immagine it depends on the ammount of bass that the jogs are exposed to but i wouldnt be relying on this for a fix in all situations.
Glad to hear your jumper saved your neck though !
Having said that it could depend on how bulky your jacket is.
The VCI-300 doesnt need it as it has a setting that can make the jog wheel a bit firmer so this wont happen.

Macbookpro 2.4 i5 4gb
Traktor Pro 1.2.6.
Black VCI-100 Mod firmware 1.3
Presonus Firebox
Would be cool if we could work out some sort of easy to do modification for the VCI that added that sort of functionality - even if you had to take your jogs off every time you wanted to adjust it.
It would be nice if there was a quick fix, but hey I paid $100 USD and the problem was solved. For a working dj, its no big deal. Sometimes we drop that at the bar in one night. But I can imagine for college students and dj on a budget you always want to find an alternative. I ended up buys the ATA style case & the Vestax VCI-100 bag and the padded cover working fine too.
Anyone hear about this happening with a Hercules RMX?? I haven't had it happen yet, but then again I haven't been in a club that was crazy loud enough yet to knock it out of whack.
