This whole 'dubstep has gone bad' thing is just the same as any other genre that teens get hooked on.

Im pretty sure the same thing was said by people who were into Iron Maiden and Motorhead when stupid hairspray rock bands like Motley Crue came out and all the kids went METAL.

Same thing was said about Indie music in the UK when bands like the Stone Roses and The Smiths disappeared. Ive got mates that call other indie fans "plastic indie fans" cus they are into bands like The Killers and Kings Of Leon claiming its not "proper indie".

Probably, the earlier picture with the Aphex Twin Facebook post more or less suggests that poor old Skrillex is 'locked in' into what he's doing now, he's going to have difficulties "branching out" musically without completely losing his fanbase, which I guess is why a lot of his music sounds kinda samey.
