I think people tend to forget you can remap the shit out of your controllers. Customization is still one of the main advantages of MIDI. There is no such thing as an obsolete controller.

Sorry to bump this thread but I wonder what NI has done to make the sample decks more sync friendly. I know that I've had issues with samples that i've taken from tracks running with perfect beat grids and they still somehow fall out of sync over time. If NI expects people to use the remix decks more often they'll have to offer easy ways of adjusting grids for the sample decks without having to throw them into a track deck first. That or the BPM and auto grid feature will the pinnacle of the auto grid function haha. I wonder if we'll see some tools pop up in Maschine near april to compliment the remix decks.
