Maybe punch 'punches' a sample over the top of a loop whilst it is held down, then reverts back to the loop.

I'm pretty sure it will be, however when your launching clips, you really don't need 127 pressure notes...

sure maybe not for launching clips, maybe it could be optional via preferences. I was thinking about using it outside of Traktor as well. HOWEVER, it would be nice to have a bunch of "clips" that kind of vary, and the velocity determines which Clip is fired, giving you some randomness. ALSO the ability to use velocity for amplification. The harder you hit the louder the sample, OR the harder you hit the more "wet" and effect is.

there's lots more to this stuff than clip launching.
