    Got myself some Traktor Butter Rugs over a week ago. I don't scratch but they're a pleasure just to mix with. I'll be taking them to gigs with me for sure.

    Yeah they sold out quick. I even sold the pair I was keeping for myself. *Might* do a limited re-print, I'll keep you posted.

    Would really appreciate it And I can pretty much promise they will sell out quickly again, know more than a fair few DJ's in the area that would love a pair

    Sorry to dig up an old thread, i'm looking for some new slip mats that have a good amount of grip for mixing, i don't scratch... is the dr suzuki slip mats mixing edition still a good shout?

    Not sure if it helps, but I mix and scratch with the Traktor Butter Rugs.

    I've got 18 year old slip mats by a company called "Synergy". They are the nicest mats I've ever used.

    They're double layer - with a felt layer on top, and a more wool-type layer on the back (platter side).

    They are awesome for scratching, and I am ALWAYS on the look out for another pair.

    I was looking at these first but read they are quite slippy so it's easier to scratch, i definitely prefer the mats that have a nice grip on them, just feels better when mixing imo... do you think the butter rugs will be suitable?
