Ableton + AKAI MPK Mini - Help Please

Just got my AKAP MPK Mini keyboard. I am trying to get serious into production, and was wondering if anyone had any insight on some kind of "guide" to setting up and really how to use it to its maximum potential with Live.

I have some problems too w this, for some reason Ableton didn't recognized the mini.

i have used the mpk mini for the past couple years. if you havent already figured it out, here are some instructions on getting it to work. I have never been able to use it in the first preset. Normally what i have to do is start Ableton then open up AKAI MPK MINI EDITOR its important you open ableton before you open the mpk mini editor. then set it to preset 2 , that should do it. you can use presets 2,3 and 4 but like i said i have never been able to get the first one to work it usually just acts as if all the pads and keys are the same value.
