You can indeed use the MPD24. I started to make a .tsi file before I sold my 1. Sorry mate.

    Hi man,
Get that mpd24 mapped up with Eans midifighter mapping, immediatley
    1. Make sure youre using Traktor 1.2.4 or greater
    2. Get to the midi fighter forum
    3. download the midi fighter 1.1 mapping
    4. Open up the editing software that came with the mpd24
    5. Change your midi notes on one scene of the mpd24 to midi channel 3
    6. remap the buttons of that scene so they correspond to these notes:
    SHIFT: C3 (48), SYNC, C#3 (49), PAUSE: D3 (50), PLAY D#3 (51)
    RECORD: G#2 (44), MASH: A2 (45), FILTER: A#2 (46), ECHO: B2 (47)
    CUE 5: E2 (40), CUE 6: F2 (41), CUE 7: F#2 (42), CUE 8: G2 (43)
    CUE 1: C2 (36), CUE 2: C#2 (37), CUE 3: D2 (38), CUE 4: D#2 (39)
    (courtesy of Jaysum)
I found that the note values were wrong but the note numbers were right. Use these. (e.g. 48, 49, 50)
    6. Import the midi fighter .tsi file into traktor.
    7. Hook up the midi-in and midi-out of this mapping to your mpd24
    8. Watch eans tutorials on the midifighter mapping
    9. mash away to your hearts content
    10. Learn how to map midi functions
    11. map the rest of the knobs and faders yourself
    12. bask in the glory of the mpd24

Go the mapping and can see the input light on the CTRL button on the Traktor program, but no functionality. Also, if you scroll to "default" on the mpd-24 the number for each pad is already correct.

The editor program is called vyzek.

Manually set each pad output to midi 3. Getting some SOME function. Record is working weird though!
