Kontrol X1 with ableton - simple mapping problem

Hi,
what on earth is happening?
I mapped, from kontrol x1, one single button in ableton to play one single mp3 file.
Everything is fine on first press of the button.

The problem is:
When i press again the button i expect to play the track from the beggining instantly.
This is not happening at all because the little icon play button from ableton first is blinking 3 -4 times ,so only after 2-3 seconds it starts playing the track.

I`m running ableton 8.2.6 Demo version (yesterday downloaded from official website)

I figure out that this is happening even when i press the play button with my mouse ))
I hope my laptop configuration is prepared for ableton

The answer to your problem is in that post you linked to the Ableton site.

1. Check your Global Quant. at the top.. if you want it to start instantly you can set it to NONE. if you want it to start on a beat set it to a beat value. 1/8th, 1/4th, 1/2, 1 Bar, Etc.

2. Check your groove settings on the clip itself and make sure you don't have it set to a groove or else it will launch according to the the grove you have it set to.
