Thanks for the tips. I was using an audio 4 to record that. I normalized it as well. I'm thinking it could have had something to do with the crappy RCA to 3.5mm jack going into the laptop. Thanks for fixing it up though.

yeah if you're using an Audio 4, why do you have an RCA jack going into a laptop? Record straight off the soundcard using the USB connection, you'll have much better results! I'm guessing the Left channel distortion is from your RCA plug or the mini jack.

I had all the ins and outs used up for DVS so I used to have to do it that way. Thanks for the tips though man. I'll defiantly be recording through the soundcard from now on.
