    Yes yes yes.

(I also can't say I'd be mad if Behringer copied this, adding LED rings to the encoders and bumping the audio interface to 24bit/96Khz.)

(edit: and selling it for half the price of the K2, of course)

For how much does an x1 go these days on the UK? just to get a local price speculation.

No soundcard excludes a huge market. The noob.

This is the next level to the NI X1.

NI just need to release something similar with a soundcard and it will be better than the K2 because as good as the K2 is, it is only better than the X1 cus of the audiocard.
The X1 definitely has a big advantage with native traktor maps. If you reinstall or import a TSI that wipes everything an X1 is good to go which is a nice bonus.

Led rings like the Behringer BCF-2000 or BCR-2000

I thought the same thing.... Assuming you're using traktor, if you had two of them you'd have a 4 channel mixer (with kills), 4 Fx Channels, and a MF, with extra room for mapping on the top layer for less then $500.

Yep. Personally I'm not a huge fan of those sliders for faders, are there any other fadercaps that will fit with the faders so close together? Not that I would use it as a mixer but it is a cool option.

Can somebody tell me the main difference between a soundcard like this one and for instance, the Reloop Contour Interface Edition? Because this is the 48 kHz and the Reloop is the 96 kHz?

I was just thinking... this is named Xone K2 and has a built-in soundcard. We also had the Xone 2D with a built-in soundcard.
    We had a Xone 1D without a built-in soundcard. Now gimme a Xone K1 without a built-in soundcard! Thanks =)

Yeah I can see what you mean with faders, I'd like to see what it looks like in hand or with a finger on it. I think I maybe in for one of these as it would easily replace how I currently use my X1 and LPD8.

Great piece of kit by first impression
