Traktor 2.1.1 update out

Hi, I have duo 2 and I am on an hp dv6000 amd processor, with 1.9 gig and 3 gig ram. Windows vista 32.
I am having trouble activing effects on sample decks. My 1and2 effects units are lit and the fx are on at top and then I go to turn on fx at sampler - nothing.
Am I doing wrong everything is activated. However, I can do key lock on sampler no problem.

Is the FX enabled for the slots you have samples in? That's a new feature.

i don't what happened , but the update totally jacked up all my tsi files and my sound card settings i use a Denon MC-6000 i'm having to restore my system from a back up ...anyone else have a problem ?

Yes, fx enabled for the slots Everything in effects land is on top to bottom.
I can enable the key lock for each slot and those work.

Have you tried adjusting your latency? My general method is to load all the sample decks and activate all the FX, then lower until I hear pops, then raise a little.

Yeah, I had to go mow the lawn and stop playing with Traktor. I'll have a look tonight and see if I can tweak the latency. I am at 11.8 now. I wouldn't like to go much higher. I wonder if going with Windows 7 64 bit will help. As far as I know, Windows 7 32 bit can't do multi-processor. Don't quote me on that though.

Maybe you have a more powerful (better) computer than I do and don't notice any big difference, because of the abundance in power? I have a i3 W7 32bit with 3GB RAM. (yeah, I know, I should be using W7 64bit, but stupid Lenovo sold the computer that way and didn't offer a Windows upgrade.)

I think you be right - i5 W7 64bit with 8GB RAM. It's a beast.

just noticed when running on battery the battery symbol flashes which is annoying.

When a track is stopped with effects on it the effects still keep on playing till they turned off...i get it if a reverb or delay would, but for other effects does it have to be turned off to cancel the effect evrytime???
