Yes, obviously we don't know many details just yet but it does look a lot like pioneer's competitor to the VCI-300...

They'll bring out a Numark Omni Control killer next.

I do like the light spinning round the cdj400, but that thing just looks like a twinkle toy to attract youngsters....
It's not the gear. It's how you use it.
limitations are the source of creativity.
If you don't practice you don't want it.

I am amused by this... but only barely, because it's kind of tragic that Pioneer fails so hard at controllers

I'm not jealous of (Insert flame-war starter here) because he makes fat stacks, and I am not upset with him because he makes a lot of money. I don't like him as a DJ (or insert other profession) because he is awful at DJ'ing (other profession'ing). That's reasonable, right? Your comment is not logical and unfounded in evidence or reason. One can dislike successful people for reasons other than their financial success.

Looking at the other Pioneer controllers, innovation is not their strength in the controller market..

I suppose that with this controller, as well with any other Pio gear, you ought to pay a lot for a underfeatured controller just cause it says Pioneer on it..

Just watched the video on their facebook page. What a freaking disaster the thing looks!

Just when i thought they were starting to make very good looking equipment they take out this shambolic item.. It's like the twitch or something caught them off guard and made a desperate attempt to get some sales.

Lights are always fun to watch, though.

Here's the video if you don't want to go looking for it:
