£200? For that I'd buy one! No way will it ever cost that little, it's far too well built.

i know mate
just a bit of wishful thinking on my behalf
it'll most probs sit around the £300-500 mark
which for an entry level controller aimed at "non djs" its a tad steep

Yeah but do you like it for the OS and the excellent build quality or do you like it for the fact it's glossy and white and has a glowing logo on the back?

Not sure if this demo video of it was posted being used with VDJ.
Still looks pretty cool.

I think if I was looking for a two channel controller, I'll probably be tempted. I like Pioneer's build quality in general, the controller looks nice and it has some strong features. I'll probably won't use it for VDJ but if it has mapping abilities I'll be quite happy with that. I just think the hotcues and sample buttons should have been under the jogs.
Well it's not bullshit, it's a fact Pioneer is the industry standard when 90% of the clubs are fitted with Pioneer's decks and mixer.I agree though, pioneer should pay for their arrogance... And I'm really glad we're getting away from this old dogmatic "industry standard" bullshit. It's all just marketing. Technology has gotten to the point where it does not make sense to consider something "industry standard" any more. There's too much specialization in digital DJing for that to exist.
What does it have to do with arrogance? Could you define that please?
I award you the stupidest comment on the whole thread (not you as a person, just your comment). Because that would assume the technique or even technology comes forward before music selection or the flow of your mix, or building an atmosphere. That's just untrue and if you don't realize that you have a lot to learn and you are very short sighted. Now, if you can have that and technical skills, the better of course.Almost 100% of the time, the DJ's that only talk about "build quality" and the "quality of the faders/knobs/buttons" Are just traditional DJs transitioning between tracks, who are about the go extinct. Ignore them. We're the future, they're dying.
As a side note - and I have noted the word 'only' in your sentence - yes build quality is important, as durability, as sturdiness, as being able to play on your gear like an instrument. You may have missed it, but Pioneer's hardware (like other manufacturers, don't get me wrong) are performance orientated, much more than most controllers on the market.
LMAO at this. The issues that people who MATTER...

Only old school DJs care about fader/knob/button quality? How odd. Why are all these DJTT controllists buying the fanciest buttons in the world? You know, the ones made for arcade machines.

size of the jogs are nice, unless that fellow has exceptionally small hands.
