That might be waning. There are a lot of people with DVS systems, and there are a lot of people espousing the merits of more traditional DJing.

Controllerism isn't going anywhere, but, well…skratchworx used to be a hardcore turntablist site. They still seem to have a bit of that bent some times, but it's definitely gone for a wider audience as time progressed.

Ah fair enough, I have seen a huge number of DVS in this thread. My personal preference is definitely DVS as I just like mixing manually but everyone's different

hahaha I found this going through my facebook albums, this is my first setup where I found some record players in my parent's house while I was waiting for my technics to come in the mail. I had bought like 20 records and couldn't wait, needless to say I was not very successful at learning to beatmatch on them.



this was almost exactly three years ago.

I have like full albums of my setup as it evolved, I developed RGAS pretty much instantly. I could post the evolution but I don't want to clog up this thread unless anyone cares and is interested.
