The mapping denon provided isn't good at all..
I had to go through the whole .tsi to get everything working properly.
I like denons products but I really wish they would focus more on traktor than VDJ.. thats my only grip....

That's because Denon's core market are mobile DJ's. Most of whom, use VDJ.

would be cool if NI released an S4 type controller with enough knobs/faders/buttons that didn't require users to rely on crafty mappings or complimentary controllers to make up for it only offering the bare minimum.

Agree'd with this. One thing that has always bugged me about S4 is the lack of EQ kills. It would be nice to be able to press in on the EQ button to toggle kills. Having to use maschine mappings for this is a waste..
