If you want to do a complex mapping and don't want to deal with Traktor's tiny prefs window, yes.

Do you think a third party app could do that? I don't understand why NI doesn't have this already. I have a feeling that there is one coming, mostly because I just spent money on one.

I've been messing about with it and it seems kinda buggy, at least for me and using 2 DNSC2000's. I drag groups of stuff from my original tsi to a new one and it brings over all the info EXCEPT the CC#'s, so kinda useless. Also can't get it to "learn" from my controllers, I'm guessing because each controller uses two midi channels? Dunno but definitely not a perfect solution yet.
