Im actually mixing house and im not into the scratching and hip hop thing at all. with that being said, i will need something as an external effector for VCI-300 working with ITCH, what is your suggestion ? and how would that be plugged in into the unit ?

Maybe a Kaoss Pad or Pioneer. I had a Kaoss Pad Mini and noticed the volume was like 30 % lower than the actual output of the VCI..Kinda of shitey..

I don't understant you want to use it with torq or itch???

I want to use it with itch, is there any ways to use it with the Torq ???
and how would that effector be plugged into that VCI-300 ?

ummmh using it with torq is impossible until they solve that jogwheel maping problem... And I don't recommand itch since it can just do like 5 percent of the thing you can do with torq or traktor... I suggest you to give a second chance to traktor... I was kind of skeptical at start it's a really solid software. You just need to accord time to it.

ok, have you used the VCI-300 with Traktor yet ?
how is it ? is it easy to control ?

I'm using a vci-100 with traktor and the m-audio torq soundcard. There was a lil learning curve, but I must say with the ean tsi and some modification I made myself for jogwheel track search, the vci is really reactive and pure fun to control

VCI-300 works fine with traktor pro, dont know if the latest update fully support the 14bit midi, send mine back so cant test it, but we still got mini.translator.
You can map the controls just the way you want or get a complete mapping from the forum.
