i tend to use a compressor to smoothen out the levels, though im anal about levels (day job > broadcast engineer) so theres usually not much to change

Downloaded the program put my mix into the software and adjusted the highs and lows sounds way better.
edit: now i'm trying to do edit my db on a new mix but i go under effects and "hard limiter" is nowhere to be found under that section now. wtf? why did it disappear? help?Last edited by hola amigos; 12-12-2012 at 05:47 PM.

Go to Effect and then scroll down. Hard Limiter is still there.... about 7 or 8 from the bottom of the list.

Gold nuggets here!
I recently finished dnb mix and I noticed that on output meter my Left and Right volumes differ a bit like -0.5db, especially on peak levels like kick's. Is this normal? I'm traktor user. Thanks.-Ableton suite- -Traktor- -Kontrol Z1- -Kontrol X1- -Oxygen 49- -BX8- -HD25II- -Buddha-
