well, you can go back to where you bought it and say it was like that out of the box (for all we know it actually was)
see if you can get it replaced
I actually bought it from a DJF member who's information I don't have access to because DJ Forums has been down for so long. He said it was brand new and it was from the looks of it. Everything included and absolutely no signs of wear. Hopefully this isn't the reason he sold it to me. Warranty is really my only option until DJF comes back and with the customer service reputation that Numark has it's gonna be horrible.
EDIT: Good news! I just found his contact information from my email. Luckily DJF sends you emails containing the messages sent to your inbox. I will give him a call tomorrow to see if he experienced this problem as well.

ok. dont make an issue out of it.
you can try and resell it at half price, and pay the rest twards getting a audio2 from here.
assuming someone buys it
Well I am going to call Numark as well exclaim how it is a defective unit. If tha doesn't work out then I may consider your idea which I absolutely hate. Not because of the a2dj but because I just wasted $40...
considering a new one is $100 its not the end of the world.
wait....
LOLOLOL what if it WAS $40 for a reason?
any way, best of luck to you.
Nah I bought it $46 shipped... Most places have it new for $60 or so by the way. The seller said it was in tip top shape. And it looks BRAND NEW too. Must be a defect... It's really a bummer. Thanks for the help!
no problemo
