    Default S4 or ddj t1?

Prob had this question a million times.. but am gettin bored of my numark mixtrack pro and looking to get one of these..

really like the s4 but the pitch puts me off because its pitch control is small and where the jog wheels are

i like the pioneer because am used to the cdj layout

    DECISIONS!!!

what would you get and why?

    S4 because I have one

But seriously. I'd have the S4 over the T1 because the layout in my opinion is more suited to TP2.

The pitch control maybe shorter than other controllers but you can adjust the pitch % within the software to make the increments as accurate as you want.

I think the ddj t1 is an overpriced POS. Plasticy, crappy VU meters, super expensive... S4 all the way!

    None.

Get a good anlog mixer and kontrol x1's and sound card

Then u can just take your x1s a club and use cdj's and timecode

    Tommy, stay on topic.

And if you can't stay on topic at least give a good reason as to why you think that.

I'd say that's the best reason to get one

If you can get into Rub-A-Dub they have a S4 out on display so you can a mess about with it. They'll have the Pio which might be on display also so you can judge for yourself. My opinion is the S4 is a much better unit by a long way.

i really dislike the hotcues layout on the T1, and the materials feels a bit... cheaper than the pioneer standard.
I would say s4 for sure
