    just for the record, what are you using to convert HID to MIDI? I looked a bit into this yesterday because this thread inspired me so much, but I havent concluded what is best for PC. If you're a mac user of course, it doesnt help much, but it would still be good to know! thank you so much for the tutorial!

    This is genius. I imagine he isn't converting to MIDI at all and is simply using the keyboard mapping within Traktor.

    You could (in theory) make a 16 button controller if you implemented the /, *, -, +, Enter key, period, and 0 keys.

    Why converting HID to Midi? Traktor, VirtualDJ and other Programs accept keyboard assignment, so it would accept the controller as normal keyboard.

    @ElectricPulse: Yes, 16 Buttons are possible.

    I did that with my old wireless keyboard, at first I was scared for latency, but after all it works out pretty well. I added a switch for the baterries and an extra button for the thing to be on the same frequency again.
