    The paragraph-less rant.

    I dunno, I simply like the single life. Coming back at any hour, with whomever you want, when you want. Can be alone when you want. Can work on anything for days sraight and no-one will get mad at you or be crying for attention. Even the cat can feed himself... No drama, no birthday to remember, no secret party to plan, no seconds thought to have down the line with other persons. Falling in love is easy and takes time, but getting out of it is a painful process because most of the time it happens instantly. And sex? Well, it gets old with the same person overtime just like eating the same bean burrito for dinner, it will taste like nothing once you get accustomed to the flavor. Going around aint also that good since 1/5 people have some nasty disease waiting to be spreaded like a bad gossip. When you think about it, what is a girlfriend/boyfriend? Well, it's just a "best friend" to have sex with with. A wife or husband? The same thing but more costly to get, more costly to get rid of and to have 2 incomes to buy a house. And dont get me started of kids. Althou cool what kind of world will you be introducing them too?

    Not all burritos are created equal

    Or would that be tacos? How mixed should these metaphors get?

    @quenepas -well. Nice post. Not a rant at all. Just your opinion. And in my opinion, you're right and your sort of wrong. You've pointed out a lot of the negative things that can go wrong in a relationship. But when a relationship with the right partner goes right, it IS the best thing on earth. There will always be the tough times and your way of life is the easy way out, avoiding them, but also avoiding the many joys life has to offer, giving birth to a child being one of them.

    I truely hope your perspective is shared by a very, very small minority of human beings on this earth. Otherwise, we might have a serious issue as a human race.

    @Quenepas:
    Add: "No one to get in the way of throwing parties for his DJTT-friends" to that list

    I'm with scamo. I think part of your rant is true. I can smell shiny new "tacos" on almost any student-party and would like to taste some of them. On the other hand my own burrito never let me down, no matter how bad the situation was.
    Living in a monogamous relationship can be a difficult task. Think about what you REALLY want and then weigh up which makes you happier.

    Who am I to talk though? I've been in this conflict for the last three years and it keeps driving me crazy. Not wanting to pass on your very own burrito but wanting some fresh tacos is a tough dilemma for a lot of men.

    So you recommend breaking up, or what does the car-key thing mean?

    Hah, DJTT teaches about anything.

    Actually it doesn't sound like such a bad idea, but what if the hunter loves the hunt more than the prey?
