I've bought a top-range;

Macbook Pro 13" £1500
S4 & Flight-case £900

And already within a week I'm about to order MFpro, X1 and the new F1 when that lands.

It's a never ending curse I feel now.

I would agree, we do have issues.

I however love technology. And I try to sell my stuff in a reasonable time frame if I think I can get what I want out of it. Think of it more as renting a piece of gear and moving on to something else and keeping what you love. How do you truly know what you like if you don't try it?

But yes, issues here are very apparent.
