So I personally used to be a big time Ableton live user. I would use it in the studio as well playing live. Recently I switched to Traktor pro and have been using it with great success but i still miss some features from ableton. I think with smart routing and this controller Traktor/Ableton7 could be freaking amazing.

Hmmm how about the vcm600 + the korg zero 8 + this baby = just for show...yeah and what Bento mentioned above about rotary knobs is a bit off a turn off...Hey Luis when you played with the VCM-600 were the knobs rotaries or were they non-rotaries?

No it doesn't it is purely a MIDI controller, it sends and receives MIDI data, not audio.

You will need an external sound card with dual stereo outputs to pre-listen.
