    the build quality seems good. the size isn't that bad I don't think. not with all the controls it has. the chassis is like an mpk49. it's lighter than i expected. the only complaint i have is the lack of an xy pad. it feels really weird controlling the x y parameters on two separate knobs. That can be remedied by an ipod touch or a monotouch though

    Does this come with a software utility that allows the MIDI out data from the device to be modified? Should I care? Ableton and Traktor both seem to be pretty flexible on the MIDI interpretation tip, but I love how the zeroSL let me define the messages (as opposed to just 'learning' inside Torq, for example).

    Preset mapping and midi mapping can both be done.

    I picked up mine today. It is great. Build is solid and the unit is very low profile.
