In your Settings menu, you have to activate the appropriate controller in MIDI Settings.

Once you get gridding tracks down you'll be fine. I can grid most EDM in just a few seconds per track at this point. There are some exceptions, but all in all it doesn't take much.

Hm... What controller are you using (just out of curiosity?) Ableton is recognizing it, right?

i have remote zero sl and 25l

ableton finds it - im running reason too and it finds it

yeah ni make there software a bit unintelligently - i won a copy of battery about 18 months ago .. maybe more .. only to find there was no undo function in it

That's weird, cause Traktor recognizes my Remote 25SL... I wouldn't reinstall Traktor yet, but I'd try maybe reinstalling the Remote drivers?
