This may not suggest that Ean worked with Serato, but it does suggest that he has worked away from Traktor..

Novation already have a official controller with Ableton, the Launchpad, which would maybe see them more likely to build a controller for the Bridge. He also seems to mention Serato alot more then NI in that blog post. Just my analysis!
That said the teaser video is much more Traktor inclined!

If it works with Traktor, it better sent generic midi without Automap.
    It better not be gigantic.
It better not be made of cheap plastic.
It better not have the novation soundcard built in.
The FX control knobs better not be notched.

    +1

It looks like it is going to be the size of the VCI-100 but skinnier.

Also, at 0:10 mark of the video, it definitely looks like that the void under the proposed FX section are jog wheels .. the dark blob looks very circular to me .... looks like the BCD3000 jog wheels can fit on there nicely.

I don't know about the whole platter thing. That area under the "effects knobs" isn't big. Let me first say that my proportions are certainly way off - especially in the mixer section. But if I take my drawing and scale it so that the PLAY button is an inch tall, that makes the open area for the platter roughly 3" x 1.5". So a round jog dial there would be about 1.5" in diameter.

And like I said, I think I've got the width WAY off. Using the same scaling, I have this at 21" width, and I know that can't be right. I can easily shave 2" off that just by using thin knobs (like it looks like they're doing" and putting the faders much closer together.

Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if this thing was made to fit right next to the Launchpad. I really get the feeling those upfaders are more like 45mm, and that this is a smallish controller. Something like 9.5" x 15".

This and a launchpad could be the perfect bridge combo.

I was thinking the same thing. my guess is it is a stand alone Itch controller, BUT, it's really designed to be used with The Bridge and the launchpad.

i wonder if this is gonna have its own soundcard (standalone unit) or an add-on unit (no soundcard, adds to current itch setup for integration with bridge?) not too sure

i hope they are priced not too expensive!
    Setup:

    Traktor Pro 2 / S2 MK2 / X1 MK2 / Audio6 / Pioneer HDJ2000 / Westone UM3X / rMBP 13 inch 2014 (2.8 GHz) / Focal Alpha 50
