Now that I think about it some more, could the TOUCHSTRIP be a platter replacement? It seems to be modified by the PERFORMANCE MODES buttons, so maybe the mode we're seeing in the video is a kind of "phase offset meter" like in Traktor - and nudging your finger in one way or another would adjust the offset.

If that's the case, surely one of the modes for the strip would be a "needle drop" mode, to move a song pointer anywhere in a track.

I don't see any nod to pitch adjustment, and this SEEMS to be a DECK/MIXER/DECK controller, so would another one of the performance modes be pitch?

And rounding out the 4 buttons, would the last be a fine scrub of some kind?

And that's a pretty big blank square up by the possible FX section. XY pad maybe? And as far as decks go there' plenty of roomfor two more channel faders, but the knobs don't really match up in a traditional sense.

Thats what some will say cus there is a market for a full on 4 deck controller that does not break the bank like the Faderfox/4Loop.

    i'd say that.

what's the effin point of a 2 deck controller when the leading dj softwares are 4 decks...

isn't half the appeal of using software the comparable ease of 4 deck djing versus the difficulty of 4 deck djing with analogue gear?

If the quality of the photos is any indication of the product then a no go! Especially if its only 2 channel. Ive seen UFO photos of better quality.
