@bartboy I don't feel the touchscreen technology is good enough to match arcade buttons or pads just yet, but hey, I've not used any fancy ipad things so I could be wrong. Still you would be lacking tactile feedback, which blows.

@droctavia Yeah, that's one of the current issues. Hopefully it'll be solved in the future, and if not I guess we'll continue to use firewire/usb cards.

.... I think once Apple figures out the untapped market that's there for DJ's with the iPad they will hopefully build in MIDI over USB to it. That's my dream anyways. How sick would it be for Akai or NI or any company really to come out with a nice sweet mixer that also get's to read the DJTT forums :P

MIDI via USB is already support in the iPad.

now with this Dock, you just a need a cheap midi controller for knobs and your midi fighter mania and you can rock a club (of course if a decent dj app would work with this Dock)
